PhD Defence of Olav Bunte

On Thursday September 5, 16:00, 2024 Olav Bunte defended his PhD thesis “Cracking OIL: A Formal Perspective on an Industrial DSL for Modelling Control Software” at Eindhoven University of Technology.

In his thesis, Olav provides a formalisation of the Domain-Specific Language OIL, which originated at Canon Production Printing. As a results, OIL models that are used to generate production-grade code of software components of printers can now be analysed and verified fully automatically.
